Another Day Dawned
November 20th
Today is the day where reality trembles.
As if that wasn’t every day.
But today especially.
For today is the day where we free ourselves from the coat of misgivings and superstition.
I am talking of, of course, the nexus.
Today is a focal point. An opportunity. We must… nay… We musnt.
Stop doing everything.
Reassess.
What is it we’re really trying to do?
Write?
Be?
Live?
Yes.
But more.
Thrive.
And how do we thrive?
We stop letting ourselves get stepped on.
We stop saying “okay.” To things that obviously aren’t okay.
We stop allowing the wrong, the bad, the inconsistent.
This isn’t an uprising, or even a rising. It’s recognizing ourselves.
What do you see when you look at yourself?
I see a man when I look at myself. You may see a woman, a man, a squid, a cat, or something else.
This isn’t about defending ourselves, or standing up, or standing down, or sitting or laying. It’s about honor. And Solace. We need time to be ourselves. You may have gone through your life trying to meet expectations of what you thought was expected of you, but have you ever stopped and asked “What do I actually need? What do I actually want? In THIS MOMENT what is the right action to take?” Grand plans are good, but they have to be built on a foundation of moments. One moment at a time. And another moment. And another moment. Then we build a monument of everyone’s moments and we achieve something special.
Rome wasn’t built in one day.
Rome wasn’t built by one person.
But one person thought up the concept of Rome and convinced enough people it was feasible to build.
One person took one moment and said “This is what we need.”
And now… we need this. We need to stop. We need to collectively take a deep breath. We need to ask a question.
And see the dawn.

I like how you connect thriving to small, conscious choices that build into something larger.Really resonates
